Yesterday the kids rode their bikes in the Kiddie Parade. Kids from our community decorate their bikes, dress up, and ride down the street to the park. Here is Miss Ava...decked out and ready to go!
Isaiah and Andy putting Captain America on the front of Isaiah's bike.
My Mom, Rochelle, and my Dad
The guys
Love that BIG smile!
My beautiful Bootles
Drinking orange juice after the Kiddie Parade and getting ready for the puppet show at the park.
The library put on this cute puppet show.
Rochelle and her Ava
Right next to the park there was a cute little carnival that the kids HAD to go to! Here they were riding the spinning dragons.
Riding the cars together
Rochelle getting ready to go upside down!
She's on the right.
Jumpin' in the bounce house
Rochelle and Ava riding the elephants...this reminded us of Dumbo at Disney!
Grandma and Isaiah
Playing in the ball pit
Ok...this Momma felt sick throughout the entire ride. Ever since I had the kids, I can't do spinning things anymore!
Daddy and Boo riding the elephants
Time for some sparklers. This was the first year they both tired them. I was a bit worried that they would be afraid but they had absolutely no fear and loved waving them around.
Ava and Grandma
Rochelle making designs in the air.
Isaiah lighting more sparklers with Grandma.
The two Grandpas
Waiting for the parade to start with Aunt Karen and Uncle Alan.
We're all ready!
Isaiah took this picture of Andy!
How grown up does she look...but she'll always be my baby!
Aiden, Ava, and Isaiah swimming in the hot tub/pool. Andy cleaned it out and we are just using it as a little pool this summer. Tim told the kids to hold up their fingers to represent the date today. Aiden is holding up a seven, Ava a four, and Isaiah is holding a one and a two for 12...7-4-12. Don't worry...they're not swimming in Mountain Dew...the water is really clear...but just looks yellow with the hot tub color and sun reflection.
We had both our parents, Grandpa and Grandma Richardson, Jody, Tim, Aiden, Julie, Kevin, Isabelle, Alan, Karen, and my Uncle Dave. Despite the high temperatures, the shade wasn't too bad and there was a nice breeze.
Two wonderful people!
My Three Happy's:
1) Number one...definitely having everyone over today! I love entertaining at our house!
2) Movie night with Rochelle (We're watching Rio...she's never seen it and the kids love telling her what's happening.)
3) Summer...enough said!
