In this post you'll get a little more Magic Kingdom and a little more Hollywood Studios. One of the nice things about this trip was that we didn't feel rushed. If we didn't get to something or forgot to do something, there was always another day to go back.
This beautiful restaurant is Crystal Palace. One morning we had a yummy buffet breakfast here and got to meet the characters from Winnie the Pooh.

We went to the Bear Country Jamboree show.

Riding the People Mover...this ride took us around Tomorrow Land and through Space Mountain. They loved this ride!
That night we went to another resort area, Fort Wilderness. This is where you can rent cabins, bring your own camper, or use tents. At this location they have a huge pavilion where they host "Mickey's Backyard Barbeque." Let me tell you that it was raining...and when I mean raining I mean complete downpour...a monsoon! So besides running like mad under ponchoes and trying to stay dry...this was pretty fun. The food was to die for...burgers, hotdogs, chicken, ribs (the BEST I've ever had), salad, potato salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, watermelon, ice cream, popsicles, wine, beer, lemonade, tea...it was all just typical food that you might see at a BBQ.
The kids loved this particular popsicle. Typically this would be $3.99 for this at a park; but here it was included with the dinner.
The kids had three each...so that would have been $24.00 worth of popsicles...outrageous!

A little country music started...and then it began to flood! Well it actually started to flood while people were eating. This pavilion apparently was built a while ago and has one drain area in the center that could not handle the amount of rain that was coming down. Luckily we were in a safe and dry spot.
Mickey Mouse and the gang appeared in their Western attire to dance along...I wasn't about to run into that crowd. After about 15 minutes the characters were dismissed because the floor was too slippery and they announced that they would not be coming back out. They also announced that everyone's meal was free, courtesy of Disney! Wow! I'll take that! Free food and a fun atmosphere! Through the monsoon to the bus we went!
Next morning we were back at Hollywood Studios...it was Star Wars day the weekend we were there. Isaiah and Andy were looking at a brochure they had...and itching his eyes because somehow some sunscreen slipped in there. We were waiting for the live showing of Beauty and the Beast.

We then went to a place we had never been before...The Magic of Disney Animation. This place was cool and the kids loved it. First we met Frozone from The Incredibles.
We also met Mr. Incredible.
One of the activities we found here was a cartoon drawing class. Before you wait they have TV screens where you watch characters being drawn...you're supposed to "guess the character" as they are drawing it.

Here we all are...and my Mom was in the 2nd row to the left of Andy.
The teacher used this large screen to show the steps. He taught us how to draw the cartoon characters, Phineas and Ferb.

After the art class they had activities in another area. The kids used a computer program to color their own characters.

They also had a survey you could take to tell you which Disney character you are most like. Andy was most like Buzz Lighyear, I was most like Nala from the Lion King, and my Mom was most like Cinderella.
Isaiah was most like Woody from Toy Story.
Ava was most like Belle.
They had a room dedicated to the new Brave movie. Here's Ava posing in front of Merida...the character known as Brave.

For lunch we ate at Pizza Planet...the restaurant in the movie Toy Story.
You know I'm camera happy when I look back and see that I took over 600 pictures. The first time we went to Disney, Ava turned 4 and Isaiah was 2. People told me that my kids were too young to take to Disney because they would never remember it at that age. Boy...are those people wrong. When we went back this summer, they were able to remember everything we did, tell stories about some of the things we did, they remembered the rides we went on, and the ones that were new. All these pictures are so worth it...when you look back at them...it's like your reliving the experience and making the memories all over again!
