The Magic Kingdom park is every kid's dream. The amazing castle that stands before you as you walk down Main Street, along with the parades and characters that seem to walk by you constantly, the good food, and the variety of rides for both young and old make this park so much fun for everyone. I think the kids would agree with me when I tell you that this is always their favorite park to go to. We loved it so much that we went three times during our stay. You can never get through everything in one day, let alone two days.

The train station that you see as you approach the park. This train takes you all around the park and makes three different stops. You can ride it to a specific place or just take it the whole way around.
As we walked down Main Street we saw the performers and stopped to watch them welcome everyone.

The first ride we went on was The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Ava and Isaiah love to go up and down and up and down. They love tickling their tummies!

The Jungle Cruise takes you on an adventure...of course the animals are pretend...but it's still fun. Just wait until you see the real animals from our safari pictures from Animal Kingdom! So cool!
You can't come to the Magic Kingdom and not ride the Pirates of the Caribbean. This boat ride tells the story of this movie and you can see Jack Sparrow throughout the ride. He looks exactly like Johnny Depp!

Splash Mountain...a log ride that tells the story of Brer Rabbit.
You can kind of see the big drop at the end of Splash Mountain coming out of that mountain. If you're seated towards the front...you'll be the one getting really wet! Grandpa and Andy were the ones who were forced to sit up front. I didn't take any pictures of this ride inside because I didn't want the camera to get wet.

It's a Small World After All! This ride is very relaxing. It takes you on a boat ride and as you listen to the song you see dolls from different countries dressed up and singing along. The kids love this ride.

We went back to the pirate area again and saw a little show with Jack Sparrow.
This place is amazing. After a strong recommendation from Aunt Jody, we signed the kids up for this amazing experience. They transform you into either a pirate or a mermaid. Each kit you purchase includes various extra items. I made a slide show of this that I will post in the next chapter. You will see Ava and Isaiah throughout the rest of this post all made up...but the details will be in the next chapter. They loved this! It was soooooo cool!

Getting ready to ride Peter Pan. This ride is always a LONG, LONG wait. Each time we rode this we used a fast pass...so it was hardly any wait!

After a busy day we were very hungry and excited to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table. Have you ever wondered what was in that giant castle that you see? Well this is one thing. After dinner we went to the Haunted Mansion. This place is so neat from the outside...and inside is where you journey through the creepy mansion and graveyards. It's spooktacular!

You've got to love the Buzz Lightyear ride with the goal to defeat Zurg!

Most of these targets move...this is one with Zurg at the top. You aim at different circles and each circle has it's own point value.

Both kids were zonked out on the bus. We didn't even take off their face make-up...one exhausted mermaid and a pirate.
My Three Happy's:
1) This park does nothing but make you happy! The kids were trilled with everything the entire day and it's so beautiful at night when things are lit up. We love the Magic Kingdom.
2) Today I took the kids to library class at the local library. We learned about nocturnal animals. They sang songs, watched a puppet show, listened to stories, and did two crafts...sorted bats and made an owl. We came home with tons of books!
3) Today for lunch Ava wanted a turkey sandwich and Isaiah wanted grilled cheese. I looked over at Isaiah's plate and he barely touched his sandwich...and then I heard him say, "Can I have some more peas?" That kid ate over half a bag of pea pods! I guess I can't complain about that!
