Last Saturday my parents took us to a Sesame Street live show at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. This one was really neat. The message was about using your imagination to take you anywhere. The kids loved it!

We went out for lunch afterwards...the kid enjoyed putting sticky notes all over Daddy's arm. My purse has the most random things inside it!

That afternoon Ava had dance pictures...here are a few I took while we were waiting to go into the studio. I put a little make-up on Ava and curled her hair...of course the long curls came out on the drive over....it was really warm that day...she looks beautiful!

When we got home the kids wanted to splash around in their pool.
The water was chilly so we just put a little big in...the kids didn't even notice the temperature...they had so much fun!

Isaiah is pretty strong! You can really see his arm, stomach, and chest muscles in this picture...especially if you zoom in on the camera. He's going to be pretty athletic I think!
On Sunday the kids did a few Easter crafts that Grandma and Grandpa Van Slyke got them from Easter. These were little kits that contained all the supplies needed. They loved them. We spent about an hour straight doing these until they were all done.

On Sunday night we went to Great Grandpa and Grandma Richardson's for dinner. I love this picture I took of Ava and her Great Grandpa.
They were looking through a Norman Rockwell photo book. They were looking for one of his paintings called "The Babysitter" that Ava remembered from a story she has at home.
